During the spandex, eye-liner and cocaine-induced glory of 80’s, Strökker was a mid-tier hairband known for audacious lyrics and raw musical structure. Now merely a relic from a distant era, Tommi, Strökker’s lead singer, is desperate to relight the band’s musical flame. Sweet 16 birthday parties are the best gigs they can muster aside from the scant bar performance.
Broke and defeated, the band has to face the reality that the gig is officially over. Until Tommi has the epic epiphany that the band’s path back to stardom lies with the creation of a truly great Power Ballad.
